A Little About R. A. and SMOAWGMM

I am an aspiring SFF writer and SFF reviewer as well as a wannabe superhero … Or secret agent, I can’t decide. Currently working on my first novel, as well as some short stories, I love books and read and write as much as I possibly can and couldn’t imagine my life without the joy of discovering new worlds on paper, or bringing the worlds that I have created in my mind to life. Welcome to the world of the moustachioed insomniac.

  1. Thanks for the follow 🙂 I’m really having fun exploring your blog. I’m about to do my first author interview and I hope it turns out as well as yours did. I’m working on a YA book that’s springs from my love of the tv series Supernatural. I’d also like to be a secret agent WITH superhero abilities. I’d like to be able to fly and have super strength. That way I could annihilate the criminals and then make an awesome exit!

    • Likewise. Im glad you enjoyed the interview I did have fun doing it. Thats fantastic, I really like Supernatural, although Im so behind on it. I totally forgot I put all that waffle on my about page. Thanks for browsing the bloggage. 🙂

  2. Hey R.A., I need your help. Advice more like… Actually it’s a recommendation or few.

I’ve recently started reading again and I need some good books recommended to me.

I read the King Killer Chronicles, and a classic in the form of Enders Game.

I need awesome books as such, that I can find in audio tape form, so that they can entertain me on my journeys to work and back.

    • *Cracks knuckles* Right. If you havent read the Mistborn series by Brandon Sanderson then you simply must. Um, lemme see, oh! The Gentleman Bastard series by Scott Lynch, full of thieves, plots and elaborate dastardly goings on. My friend Shep recommended the Dresden Files by Jim Butcher. I havent read them yet but I know its supposed to be good. Also, the Shadow Ops series by Myke Cole. Magic within the military etc. Gemsigns by Stephanie Saulter and Binary by the same author. Genetically modified humans and corporate shadiness plus religious fantaticism. Is that a help?
